Tong-Len Social Awards were presented to two individuals and one organisation for their compassion and impact in serving the community. In the Chief Guest’s speech he praised Tong-Len’s selfless dedication to
the under-priviliged community through the provision of education, vocational training and health services and he committed to supporting this noble work. After a final thank you the ceremony was followed by lunch for all the hundreds of guests with the majority of the food being prepared in the new school kitchen.
