The vocational training centre has two programs currently on offer, with a total of 40 students. The tailoring program has 15 students, and the new electrician program has 25 students. Their course is entitled house wiring and home appliances repairing and is affiliated with NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), which is the largest Open Schooling System in the world.

A small gathering was organised on 2nd November 2022 to thank the Fontana Foundation for all they have done in helping people from the poorest communities in India find employment. Walter Zahnd received the award on behalf of the Fontana Foundation and the event was also attended by Brigid Whoriskey from Tong-Len UK, Commander Parampreet Singh from NIOS, Jamyang, Navita, and the staff and students of the Tong-Len VTC.
