The Tong-Len health team have been working hard to support the families evicted from their homes in Charan Khad. Regular clinics are being held in all the places where the families have relocated, mainly in the vicinity of Chetru close to the airport near Gaggal. In addition the health team have run a number of clinics in other slum camps in the Kangra valley. The team run special clinics for the under-5s, pre-natal and post-natal clinics and vaccination programmes. The mobile health unit is equipped with basic laboratory equipment so that our medical laboratory technician is able to carry out diagnostic tests.
