Congratulations to Nisha, Poonam and Sarika on the completion of their nursing studies. The 3 girls have now graduated and will shortly begin their professional careers.
Sarika has decided that her first position should be with Tong-Len, so will be working within the slum community into which she was born alongside Tong-Len’s senior nurse, Radha .
Nisha has re-joined her family in the Punjab and will register as a nurse there in order to support them.
Poonam also wants to help her family who live locally but also wants to study for a higher degree. Her options remain open – perhaps working locally initially followed by a hospital position in Delhi alongside further study.
